How to use Scriptio Features
Scriptio was created to allow all users to share the same information based upon their role. For example, an individual patient and a non-acute resident have different abilities. This is to allow greater accuracy and security.
Use your role and the feature you wish to understand better below.
If there is an image button, this will display a helpful diagram to better explain the feature.
To access your account, you need to hold your Scriptio id to the back of your phone. Then you press the Scriptio logo to read your id. Scriptio will read this and retrieve your information from the Scriptio servers.
* Your Scriptio ID is referred to here as a "fob" regardless if its a sticker, bracelet, or card. * Any information added by a patient has a yellow background * A prescription that has been deemed inactive (if fulfilldate is more than one year, or manually set) has a red background.
If you lose your Scriptio Id, you can have them deleted from your account and then re-order replacements. This keeps your account secure. Please be aware that once you complete this step, your IDs are no longer valid and you must await for your new ID to be received in order to access your account.

Authorized users can add prescribed medications to a patient record. The drug is retrieved via search (name, or bar code) and then the details are provided. Once the desired prescription information is saved, you are prompted to create reminders. If you don't want reminders, just cancel this screen.
Reminders for prescribed medications (not PRN) can be created when the presciption is created or afterwards. It is important to note that when you scan a patient id, their prescription reminders are installed on your phone. This allows reminders to follow the patient if they change phones.
Prescribed medications are automatically marked as inactive one year after their prescription has been fullfilled. You can also manually mark a medication as inactive by following the image below. Once a medication has been marked as inactive, it can no longer be acted upon.
Any medication that is un-scheduled is referred to as 'PRN'. This can be either a prescription like Xanax, or an over-the-counter such as Tylenol. When you add this to the patient prescription record, there are no reminders as they can be administered anytime.
